….and my birthday.
So Thursday we packed the car with all the sewing machines, fabrics and drove to Strängnäs for three days. During these days we where 20 women in all ages, sewing all kind of things. I made mens underwear (fabric from Tygaffären) and a bralette.
Lena Lundvall from Sytt&Prytt is the person behind the sewing event in Vikingavallen and she is making sure that we get really nice food, good space for our machines and also in the middle of ”the conference room” tables for cuttingmats and pattern drafting.
During the sewing event it was my birthday and one of the other ladies made me a gift and I just love it! 😍
Now I am reloading for a tripp to Lillestrom in Norway, were I am teaching a Beginner Bra class for 10-11 lovely ladies and meeting my dear friend Tone Irén again.
Over and out for this time, see you soo again and…have a great day.
..and it is still 17 degrees outside during the days. I just love it! Still lunches on the veranda!
During the past months we have been in Canada for a friends daughters wedding – very beautiful and lovely – but a little to hot for us. We have also bought a lot of new fabrics and laces to the store that we will get there one after one. Here you can see a few of laces.
I am working on the program for next years European Bra Summit, that will be the 5th year – program will be released soon – but I can tell you today that Madalynnes Maddie Flanigan is coming and it looks like Mrs Weavers/Braphorias Karin Teil will be here teaching together. This is a week you DON´T want to miss.
Brand new in the store is that Lena Lundvalls Sytt&Prytt cloths patterns are borrowing a store corner for selling her patterns, in paper and PDF.
Friday next week it is time to go to Norway and teach two Beginner classes but before that I am going to a sewing event with my daughter – three days of only sewing and mom/daughter time :). She is grown up with her own family so I don´t see her as much as I wish these days so this is going to be extra fun.
Last weekend I was in Linköping again teaching a mixed class, with cut & sew foam and swimsuit class. You can see some of the results here.
Some sewers are very economical and use every fabric piece they got. 🙂
Right now I am packing for the sewing event, and even if I by now should be used to pack fabric and elastics I am running around like a mad woman talking to myself..what do I need? Do I have everything? and so on….well….what I have forgotten I have forgotten….at least I can be sure I am there 🙂
This was all from me this time, take of each other and have a great weekend.
